“Throughout this nation of coffee lovers, more people buy and enjoy Maxwell House than any other brand of coffee,“ is the slogan of this 1947 original vintage advertisement for Maxwell House Coffee. The ad features a very nice vintage drawing of the Plantation House a symbol of Southern hospitality and American architecture. It was painted by Oglen Pleissner and was part of the “American Scene” scene series by Maxwell House that promoted the product in all parts of the nation. There is a small promo for the George Burns and Gracie Allen show on NBC in the ad. A neat ad with a glimpse to the past.
The ad is on a 10x13 page and in color. It is in excellent condition with nice detail and color. Your ad will be sent protected by a plastic sleeve with backboard.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
