“Make Father‘s Day the snappy pappy,” is the headline of this 1957 original vintage advertisement featuring classic film star Glenn Ford, his wife Eleanor Powell and son, Peter. The ad has a nice photo of him an family ready to take a trip on their boat with a Evinrude Lark outboard motor. There is a promo for his film, “Teahouse of the August Moon,“ in the ad. See the scan. A neat ad with a glimpse to the past. Ad was saved because of the nice family picture of a great star and his wife, Eleanor Powell. She was a star of her own right as dancer and actress. They were married until 1959. Peter was the only child each had.
The ad is on a 10x13 with the picture of Ford and family about 6x9. PLEASE NOTE: part of the rest of the next picture is not there as it was on the next page. Item is exactly as shown in scan.
