“See War History in the Making,” is the headline of this 1918 original WWI vintage advertisement for the second U.S. Official War Feature film, “America‘s Answer.” Shown in the ad are WWI soldiers coming off a ship. This film showed Americans going into battle at Cantigny, supported by French flame-throwers. The ad was presented by the Committee on Public Information, George Creel, Chairman of Washington , D.C.
The ad is 8x12 and in b&w. It is in good to very good condition with some aging from a magazine that is almost 100 years old. It has nice detail and cut from a vintage magazine with uneven cut at right side. Please see the scan.
