“Chesterfield the largest selling cigarette in America‘s colleges” is the theme of this 1947 original advertisement for Chesterfield Cigarettes by Ligett & Myers Tobacco Co. Featured in the ad is cool young college-age guy in suit with Chesterfields and textbooks. This is not politically correct today by any means but is being offered for it’s historic content. The ad is in fair condition. This is the back page of a vintage magazine and has a subscription address in lower right edge and some smudging on the right edges. See the scan.
A BONUS is the ad on the reverse side of the page is a feature advertisement for Three Feathers Fine Blended Whiskey. Shown is a 3 candle lamp filled with 3 feathers. This ad is nicer and cleaner than the other side as it was inside the back page of the magazine. Please see the scan.
