“His first solo” is the theme of this 1944 WW2 era original advertisement for Carnation Milk. The ad features a wonderful drawing of a WW2 Pilot dad watching son Butch walk to his mother. You can see the military wing on the uniform of the soldier. It also has a recipe for Eggs, Scrambled with Tomato Bisque and an appeal to conserve for the war effort.
The ad is 10x13 page and in color. It is in good to very good condition with nice detail. There is some edge aging. Please check out the scan.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
