“Westinghouse making electricity work for victory” is the theme of this 1942 WW2 era original vintage advertisement by Westinghouse Electric and Manufacturing Co of Pittsburgh, PA. Featured in the ad is how Westinghouse Electric products are making a difference in the war effort.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for a book about what names mean by Ethyl Corporation with some examples such as: Amos, Amelia, John and Jeffrey.
The ads are 8x11 and in b&w. They are in good to very good condition with page aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
