“Thrifty you bet it is,” is the theme of this 1949 Original Vintage Advertisement for Mercury Automobiles. Featured in the ad is a beautiful 1949 Blue Mercury Sedan.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for Goodyear Tires. The ad features testimonies by Mrs. Albert Cuneo, a business woman from San Francisco, H.B Bass, a farmer from Munford, Tennessee, and Wallace S. Saxton, First Selectman of Bethany, Connecticut.
Ads are 10x14 and in color. The ads are in good to very good condition with nice color and detail. There is some edge aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
