“Wood Ducks” is No. 10 in the 1946 Sports Afield Magazine series called, “Know Your Ducks,“ with paintings by Angus H. Shortt. He was an artist-Technician for Ducks Unlimited of Canada. His name and date appears on the bottom right part of the drawing. It would look great framed!
The drawing is NOT a reproduction but part of a series from an vintage “Sports Afield,” magazine.
A BONUS is an article on the opposite side of the same page that features information about that bred of duck with names, descriptions, migrations, courtship and nesting, food, weight of pintails, and distribution with a map. The drawing is on an 8x11 magazine page and is in good to very good condition with aging. The left edge has a slight uneven cut.
