“Traffic Cop of Invasion,” is featured in this WW2 1944 original vintage advertisement and salute by Western Electric. The ad features a beautiful WW2 drawing of combat soldiers using a phone by collectible vintage artist Paul Rabut. It was No. 16 of a series “Navy Amphibious Command.” The ad points out the importance of the phone during the war effort.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for A&P Super Markets. There is a nice photo of persons shopping at A&P and an art drawing at the top of a couple of beauties by Alan Foster. A great old time page!
The ads are 10x14 and in good to very good condition. There is some edge aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics. They are both too nice for the buyer not to know about them.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
