“American Pintail” is No. 5 in the 1946 Sports Afield Magazine series called, “Know Your Ducks,“ with paintings by Angus H. Shortt. He was an artist-Technician for Ducks Unlimited of Canada. His name and date appear on the bottom left part of the drawing. It would look great framed!
A BONUS is an article on the opposite side of the same page that features information about that bred of duck with names, descriptions, migrations, courtship and nesting, food, weight of pintails, and distribution with a map. Text is by B.W. Cartwright, Chief Naturalist of Ducks Unlimited of Canada.
