“Shall we trad her in for another model,” is print in of this 1947 original vintage ad by Rexall Drugs for Rexall Milk of Magnesia. The ad features a very neat drawing of a couple with a new baby and Rexall items on the table by them.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for General Electric Light Bulbs. It features Kenny Delmar star of “It’s a Joke, Son,“ and as Sen. Beauregard Claghorn. This was part of the Fred Allen radio program. Please see the scan.
The ads are 10x14 and in color. They are in good to very good condition with some edge aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics. They are both too nice for the buyer not to know about them.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming more scarce as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease.
