“Midnight Sailing to the Olympics,“ is the theme of this 1935 original vintage advertisement by the Hamburg-American Cruise Lines aboard the Lloyd Deluxe Columbus. The 1936 Winter Olympics were held in Garmisch-Partenkirchen Germany and was the last time both the Winter and Summer Olympics were held in the same city.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side the same page for a Christmas present for a “Round the World,“ cruise on the Dollar Steamship Lines. The ad features nice vintage art of places on the trip.
The ads are 10x14 and in very good condition with nice page color.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
