“Playing my Virtuolo is ever an inviting pleasure,” is the theme of this 1924 original vintage advertisement for Virtuolo Player Pianos. The ad features novelist Peter P. Kyne, author of the “Cappy Ricks” series and the then current best seller, “Never the Twain Shall Meet.” Kyne is seated at the player piano with Ray Long, Editor of Cosmopolitan Magazine standing nearby. It was distributed by Hallet & Davis Piano Company. Please see the scan.
A bonus is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for White Owl Cigars. Featured in the ad is the demand for White Owls requires 36 factories output. They sold 2 for 15 cents.
The ads are 10x14 and in very good condition. There is a small edge tear and light aging.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
It is an original vintage product and not a reproduction.
Vintage advertisements and pictures are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgic look and eye appeal. They are also suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continue to decrease.
