“Bean-Ball pitching is nothing compared with the blow-out I had says Frank Frisch” is the theme of this 1935 original vintage advertisement for Goodrich Tires. The ad features baseball Hall of Famer and manager of the 1934 St. Louis World Series Champion baseball team. Also, in the ad is a picture of an old car that experienced a blow-out. There is a number written at the bottom right corner.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for Coca-Cola Soft Drinks. Featured in the ad are bottle of Coke with snow and a Coke vending machine at the bottom.
The ads are 7x10 and in good to very good condition with some wear and aging. Please see the scans.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
