“Your little girl just swallowed a mouthful of paint thinner, what should you do,” is the theme of this 1968 original vintage advertisement by Metropolitan Life Insurance. The ad features a photo of a young girl drinking from a can of paint thinner and information about what to do as parents with emergency situations. Metropolitan Life published a booklet called “Panic or Plan,” that covered possible threats for a family’s health and safety.
A BONUS is another ad on the opposite side of the same page for Mazola Margarine and Corn Oil. Shown are the products and their benefits.
The ads are 7x10 and in very good condition with nice color and detail. Please see the scans.
REMEMBER: these are NOT 2 separate items but the front and back of a SINGLE page. They are both being listed because of possible multiple interests or topics.
Vintage advertisements and articles are becoming more and more collectible for their nostalgia look and unique eye-appeal. They also are suitable for framing and are becoming scarcer as the supply of vintage paper products continues to decrease. Please note this is an original, vintage product advertisement and NOT a reproduction.
