“Bob Hope says Chesterfield is my cigarette, I smoke them because they’re milder,” is the theme of this 1952 original vintage advertisement for Chesterfield Cigarettes. The ad features Hollywood legend Bob Hope in the days when many celebrities were featured in tobacco advertising. He was starring in the film, “Sorrowful Jones,” at the time with Lucille Ball. Also in the ad is a testimony by William P Wiseman, farmer of Danville, VA.
The ad is 7x10 and in very good condition with nice detail and color. Please see the scans.
